Some want to die, while some others want to stay alive

There is a different attitude toward army, depending whether one wants to die or stay alive and healthy. Suicidal may want to die so much that they go abroad as volunteers. As soldiers they are different from those whose primary goal is to defend country and good living conditions.

Collected from a big group, like for example Asia, there may be many who are not motivated to the local life, but may volunteer to fight a war. But such also means that they believe that locals too want to die, and so the misunderstandings may be fatal.

Skills for life

The Finnish culture supposes that as young you learn basic skills for life. Soldier skills are just an addition to other life skills.

But somehow boys get that fully wrong. Maybe they ask of healing skills and think that one must make awfully wrong choices before the one attacked dies? But miracle healing really is unusual, and one knows of experience that healing isn't an easy thing done in the middle of fight. Likewise society working well demands a lot, even if you went to school many years. You must reach for positive things, respect who cultivate good basic skills.

The goal of having an army

The goal of having an army is to defend good living conditions in the society and in the world. So the aim isn't to cause harm. Instead it is to achieve an as good situation as possible, for example good for also other countries. So causing harm is not the same as being a good soldier. Getting an as high position the world as possible is not for better if you do not support the wisest to such a position.

Your wife?

School supposes that you either live in your original homecountry and care things well in that society, or move to another country, care things well there too but in the local ways and try to keep friendly but distant relationships with your former homecountry/countries.

How it got determined that you go to the military service

Often people do not talk so much of army. So if your parents and people you know, are asked, do you want to go to army, they think that maybe like others, and say that at least a few years younger you wanted to go to the military service.

Likewise girls were told that the militaty service was adapted to boys, and so it is unlikely that it would suit girls.

A civilian point of view to army

I am a Finnish speaking Finnish woman, who is civilian and has always (but not so much lately) been very good in objective thinking.

There are thoughts of how things ought to go, but in practice those have mostly gone wrong, like young boys having thought things on their own and made a rigid arrangement of such faults.
